Why this site exists

Ulisseas is the name I work under for DevOps, platform, and Kubernetes consulting. This site is the front door: what I do, where I’ve done it, and how to get in touch.

The writing section is for the practical things that come up on engagements and don’t have a good home anywhere else. Expect notes on:

  • Kubernetes platform decisions, and what they cost a year later
  • CI/CD migrations (TeamCity and CircleCI to GitLab CI and GitHub Actions)
  • Secrets and identity with HashiCorp Vault
  • Durable workflows with TemporalIO
  • Running small language models locally on Apple Silicon
